HULL West and Hessle MP Alan Johnson has described a new bill that could give terminally ill patients the right to end their life as “very dangerous”.

Due to be debated in the House of Commons later this year, the Assisted Dying Bill would allow doctors to end the life of terminally ill patients judged to have six months or less to live, if it gets the backing of MPs and Lords.
